Gesa graduated in Geology from the University of Bremen, Germany, in 2002 and finished a PhD in Geosciences at the University of Tübingen, Germany, in 2008. Since then, she has relocated to Australia and spent several years as exploration geologist in greenfield exploration, covering a range of commodities, and early stages of mine development with projects located in Australia and overseas before changing to consulting. Gesa joined ResPot in early 2021. She is a member of the AIG and SEG.
