Matt completed his BSc in Geophysics with Honours in 2007 at Curtin University, during which time he worked in the field acquiring magnetics, electromagnetics, gravity and induced polarisation geophysical data. Upon graduating, he started his professional career in the oil and gas sector, working worldwide on seismic acquisition vessels, gaining 4 years of experience in the offshore seismic processing setting. He then transferred onshore sites and continued as a seismic processing geophysicist based in the Perth office of Schlumberger and later for Downunder Geosolutions.  Matt started with Resource Potentials in July 2023, leveraging his field work experience and seismic processing knowledge, to join the passive seismic acquisition and processing team. Matt is a member of the ASEG and AIG.
